Decking - The Composite Lineup

The focal point of any deck is the decking. With endless options out there, we've categorized our non-wood decks into 3 different options

Advanced PVC by TimberTech

99% of our ocean facing decks are Advanced PVC. Waterproof with concealed stainless steel fasteners and 50 year warranty this decking makes any outdoor deck look good enough to be indoors. PRICE RANGE - $$$ to $$$$

Wood Based Composite by TimberTech

Inland, non-ocean facing decks are perfect for this lower cost option. Elegant design with style, class and durability we build our wood based composites for the daily grind with zero sacrifices. PRICE RANGE - $$ to $$$

HDPE Decking by Owens Corning

Durable and strong, Owens Corning WearDeck is our "wood equivalent." We install this decking just like wood so if hidden fasteners aren't as important to you then WearDeck may be for you. Typically installed on Multi-family, HOAs and rental properties. PRICE RANGE - $$ to $$

Do Composite Decks Get Hot?

Everything in direct sunlight attracts heat and back in the year 2000 that was exceptionally so for the industry of composite decks. It’s not really the case now as innovation and research has leveled the playing field. While darker colors and wood based composites are more prone to attracting heat, both TimberTech Advanced PVC and Owens Corning HDPE Decking set the industry standard for heat reflective technology with most of their products testing at a lower temperature than the majority of standard wood.

Railing Just for You

Deck railing separates you from the ground, literally. Just like the decking industry though, style has met functionality and gone are the days of dilapidated wood railing as your only measure of safety. We have options for every budget with some railing systems priced at or below conventional wood so unless you have a hankering for continuous maintenance and repair, wood rails are no longer relevant.

All-In-One Railing

The Express line for short. We feature 2 all-in-one systems: Radiance Rail Express (Composite) and Impression Rail Express (Extruded Aluminum) both by TimberTech. Sweet and simple these rail systems are our No. 1 selling for a reason. PRICE RANGE - $30 to $52 ln/ft

Rail With Style

Functional and super strong, customers can design every component from the top rail and infill to the post, sleeve and caps. Featuring the big 3, composite, aluminum and PVC railing. PRICE RANGE - $45 to $100 ln/ft

Stainless Steel

Designer rail that is super elegant and constructed to not obstruct your million dollar view. With TimberTech branded railing being a higher seller we also feature View Rail, the world's highest rated luxury rail in the industry. PRICE RANGE - $85 to $275 ln/ft

Framing Materials

Our customers now have the option to construct their decks with something more than just wood. In addition to our standard framing, which consists of Pressure Treated Ground Contact Southern Yellow Pine, Coastland customers now have the option to elevate their deck framing with more than just wood. Our decks are now framed with three (3) options for you to chose from:

< Traditional Southern Yellow Pine (Wood)
< Owens Corning Lumber (HDPE Fiberglas Composite)
< TimberTech Aluminum Framing
