We had been trying to get our front deck/entryway rebuilt for quite some time. It was hard to get contractors to call back let alone come out and quote the job. Matthew and his team at Coastland Construction were working on some decking a few doors down from us, so we stopped in and asked if he would be interested. He stopped that afternoon and we discussed what we needed. Matthew made some excellent suggestions on how to tweak the original design a bit to make it more functional and aesthetically more pleasing. Within a couple days, we had CAD drawings showing the design, which was real nice. In addition, he would also be able to fit the project in with in about 2 months. This is both a vacation and rental property for us, so it was important to get it done before the rental season. We were not around for the job and only saw pictures, but you could see the quality and attention to detail that Matthew and the team afforded our property. We got to see the final job about a month after they completed the job. It came out absolutely beautiful, on time and on budget... what else could you ask for. We highly recommend Coastland Construction.

Project included repair of damaged porch railing and installation of new step railings. Matt identified issues with the builder installation and outlined corrective action. The ordered material matched the existing design and the technician who fixed the damaged railing and installed the new step railing did such a fine job, that I doubt anyone could tell the railings were not part of the original porch design. Such high-quality workmanship is getting hard to find these days. I will absolutely return to Coastland Construction for future projects.

Our deck was damaged and unsafe. Called up Coastland Construction and these guys came out and walked me through all the issues the deck on my beach house actually had and was causing to my home. They educated me on the importance of flashing, different grades of wood and the existing code and safety violations. I had no idea what 316 stainless steel was and now its all we’ll ever use on this beach. The level of professionalism I witnessed was something I never would have expected from a construction company. The same guy who quoted my build was the same guy who showed up to do the work. The entire Coastland team exceeded every expectation I had. Crews consisted of veterans across various branches of our military and you could visibly tell this company was no nonsense, professional, courteous and knew their job. I cannot say enough positive things about this organization but I can say, I’ll never call anyone other than Coastland Construction again.
