Wood Decks

Wood Decks are the most inexpensive option for our homeowners looking for a quick and affordable upgrade. Coastal environments can be harsh on these decks but when properly built and maintained they can add value. We offer a full line of appearance grade 5/4 decking as well as the slightly higher cost KDAT (Kiln Dried After Treatment) decking.

Wood Based Composite Decking

While they often cost more than wood, composite materials offer the promise of greater durability and less maintenance. In our coastal communities, composite decking is engineered to last much longer than traditional wood. We build composite decks using TimberTech, Trex and Fiberon. These decks come with both manufacturers warranties up to 30 years as well as Coastland Construction provided labor warranties up to 5 years.

Advanced PVC Decking

PVC decking is our #1 installed decking in coastal North Carolina and for good reason, it withstands the harsh elements better than any other decking on the market. At Coastland Construction, we are the preferred TimberTech Platinum Pro Contractor, the industry's leading Advanced PVC decking manufacturer. At Coastland, we preach quality and there is no better measure of quality than to be industry recognized as ASQ Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified (CSSBB). Our TimberTech Advanced PVC decking boasts both a limited lifetime and 50 year Fade & Stain warranty. Along with Coastland Construction provided labor warranties this makes TimberTech Advanced PVC the preferred choice for customers in our coastal communities. Exotic hardwoods tend to lead the charge when it comes to pricing but in some cases Coastland can secure some Advanced PVC decking at a price point cheaper than many Wood Based Composites
